Welcome to St Vincent de Paul!

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization dedicated to works of charity for the poor and needy. SVdP is an international organization; our Resurrection Conference has been in operation since 1995. Members of SVdP are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We serve the poor and needy in the Sunnyvale, California area.

“Yours must be a work of love, of kindness, you must give your time, your talents, yourselves.”

- Blessed Frederic Ozanam, Founder of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul Corner - Week of May 31

A Star Volunteer:
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul harnesses the
power of community and partnerships to feed,
clothe, house and heal individuals and families in
our community who are needy and
suffering. Our members – known as Vincentians – are led by our
Catholic faith to serve those neighbors.
For many years the SVdP conference at Resurrection has been
blessed with young volunteers, who enrich our activities with their
enthusiasm and fresh perspectives.
Claire Chapelle has been an integral part of our Saturday grocery
distribution program for over two years; leading the produce
sorting and bagging efforts. She has also served the parish in other
ways. Claire graduates this week from Fremont High and will
major in neurobiology at UC San Diego in the fall. It is with a mix
of pride, excitement, and a little heartache that we will say farewell
to her this summer.
